Avengers: Infinity War.
Did not live up to the massive amounts of hype. Okay film, but if I have 2.5 hours to kill then Avengers Assemble, Guardians of the Galaxy, Civil War or Winter Soldier would easily beat this out. I'd probably rather watch Batman vs Superman than this, but I'm in a minority there.
It was good, and it did a solid job with such a large cast but I thought it also had some issues.
Spoiler warning since this si still a pretty new movie.

So first off, Thanos goal of wiping out half of life only makes sense if the Infinity Gauntlet cannot just increase resources. We are told they have "infinite power" so Thanos goes from someone who does have a point to someone who just seems unnecessarily cruel.
Character "power levels" are wildly variable. There are a few times Black Widow especially looks too powerful. Some enemies should be too strong from her. Same extends to Captain America. Perhaps nitpicky but it just feels inconsistent.
Whomever organised the tactics for the Wakanda battle kills a boat load of soliders by forcing them through the shields then sends the big burrowing robots in. Send the robots first. Thing is they make a big deal of Thanos and company's tactical prowess.
Wakanda has a force field, that's cool. But their entire military seems to be about a thousand people. But it's okay, Wakanda is super crazy advanced to they'll have machine guns and artillery and air support? No they have laser spears and the entire Wakandan air force is 2 US military guys. I just think that is stupid for them to have no real military at all. Of course, I haven't seen the BP standalone movie so perhaps it is all addressed.
Strange and the Time Stone. Seems like not giving him the stone would have been a viable solution. Might have lost 50% of people on Earth since Thanos was here but still far better than 50% of the universe.
The joke about why Scarlet Witch was not in battle the whole time. She can fly, so have her in battle and have someone else body guard the Vision. Send her back when the stone is out or almost out. She is one of the most powerful on the team by far, though in this movie who knows about that.
Chris Hemsworth nailed the scene about loss when talking to Rocket Racoon. He's a better actor than I gave him credit for before.
The concept of the snap. They laid this one on as if Thanos has to snap his fingers. My interpretation is Thanos can use whatever stone he wants, whenever he wants and this is shown in the movie. In the comic he snaps but I always felt that was symbolic. So strange telling cloaky to not let Thanos movie his first was a stupid gimmick. They were so heavy handed to get this snap in because it's an iconic comic panel.
Good enough movie. I'll be honest, while I enjoy reading a comic book and I've enjoyed the superhero movies in the MCU and outwith it too, I'm really starting to get fatigued on them, especially the MCU given we've have 10 years and 7 movies with RDJr's Iron Man as a major character for instance.

Classic movie. Possibly the best work of Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman and the third lead though I can think of at least one other movie each that was brilliant. I'd seen it before but it seems to have only been recently put on UK Netflix so I gave it a watch. Great movie, totally holds up.
Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
So I couldn't sleep at all last night. I watched Seven then watched this. Bit of a strange movie. Also, without really knowing them Hugo Weaving and Guy Pearce as drag queens and Terrance "General f**king Zod" Stamp as a transgender woman surprised me but I felt all were great in their roles. I found this to be utterly hilarious in a few bits, and a bit weird and off in others. Hugo Weaving looks younger in his Matrix/LotR days than he does in this which is interesting. It's a bit weird. For a 1990s film, society evolving as it has, this was meant as a LGBT friendly type film, but it seems to hate lesbians. The fillipina wife of Bob was also... odd. Mostly very funny.
Edit:
JigSAW
Now, I love the Saw movies. A bit of gore, a huge convoluted plot and a twist so out of left field it's bordering on nonsense is apparently very entertaining to me. I liked this movie too. I don't think it made much sense really and I'm sure I could find the usual plot holes if I wanted to but for the most part, it's good fun and a nice enough way to kill 90 minutes.
