We don't have any official precedent for this, but I'd be inclined to say no. In the case of posting picks you've been given by a poster who for whatever reason can't get to the forum themselves I'd allow it, but in this instance you would essentially be doubling yourself on the team.

If there's prevailing sentiment among the other entrants otherwise I'll change my mind, but just on my own I'm afraid I'll have to go with no. Obviously it is a shame when your teammate disappears for whatever reason, so I'm sorry you're in that situation - but I feel it goes against the spirit of the competition to give any single player a double opportunity to pick.

I agree with not giving a single player the ability to double there opportunity but i think there should be a system in place to aid such circumstances where you lose a team mate and cannot find a replacement. Just brain storming ideas maybe a penalty system where u dont get the bonus points for a perfect podium or the player can pick 2 entrants but not all 3, maybe the 3rd pick would be a lottery maybe whom ever was 5th in fp2 has to be your 3rd entrant. Something along those lines.

Its a real shame to be on a one man team through no fault of your own. It could happen to any of us

I think you've got a better chance than me mate, if Rosberg retires and the rest stay the same as Q and you're quids in. Maybe if Lewis gets a mega start i'll be in with a shout but I'm not feeling it after Q.

Or we'll both get screwed like robins13 says... :-((

Just letting you all know that I haven't forgot about the competition, and an update should be coming later tonight! I'm very busy with a project I'm trying to finish off this week right now, but I should have time tonight.

Unofficially, cm97 won the round, robins13 is second and practically everybody else is third.

2016 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX RESULTS

Another terse update - sorry! I forgot about it until I was about to go to bed, but I promised the update for tonight, so here it is:

Race Result
1. cm97 +8 Points
2. robins13 +5 Points
3. TypingChicane +4 Points
~ 4. Icemanjee1 +3 Points
~ 4. Remmirath +3 Points
~ 4. GPG +3 Points
~ 4. Exediron +3 Points
~ 4. Mayhem +3 Points
~ 4. Herb +3 Points
10. Black_Flag_11 +1 Point
~ 11. Fountoukos13 +0 Points
~ 11. theferret +0 Points
~ 11. Jenson's Understeer +0 Points
~ 11. Bentrovato +0 Points
~ 11. Jezza13 +0 Points
~ 11. Lotus49 +0 Points
~ 11. mcdo +0 Points
~ 11. Saz +0 Points
~ 19. Thrash13 DNS
~ 19. Ruste13 DNS

For a second race in a row, picking Rosberg to win yielded the key to victory; only cm97 and robins13 did so, but cm97 also had Ricciardo in second. The majority of other points scorers yielded points only for their selection of Ricciardo in the proper place.

Individual Standings - Round Fifteen
1. robins13 -- 81 Points
2. Jenson's Understeer -- 60 Points
3. Icemanjee1 -- 58 Points
4. Black_Flag_11 -- 57 Points
5. cm97 -- 53 Points
6. mcdo -- 52 Points (1 Perfect Podium)
7. Saz -- 52 Points (0 Perfect Podiums)
8. Fountoukos13 -- 51 Points
9. Remmirath -- 49 Points (0 Perfect Podiums, 4 Wins)
10. GPG -- 49 Points (0 Perfect Podiums, 3 Wins)
11. Exediron -- 48 Points (1 Perfect Podium, 4 Wins)
12. Bentrovato -- 48 Points (1 Perfect Podium, 3 Wins)
13. Mayhem -- 48 Points (1 Perfect Podium, 2 Wins)
14. Herb -- 47 Points (3 Wins)
15. Lotus49 -- 44 Points (2 Wins)
16. theferret -- 41 Points
17. TypingChicane -- 37 Points
18. Jezza13 -- 33 Points
19. Thrash13 -- 14 Points
20. Ruste13 -- 12 Points

The gap at top extends to a massive 21 points on account of Jenson's Understeer failing to score; the biggest mover is cm97, leaping from an 11th-place tie all the way into 5th place, highlighting the extremely tight nature of the midfield at present.

Team Standings - Round Fifteen
1. Fire & Ice (robins13 & Saz) -- 133 Points
2. Multi21 (Icemanjee1 & cm97) -- 111 Points
3. Mind Your Manors (Black_Flag_11 & Fountoukos13) -- 108 Points (2 Perfect Podiums)
4. Understeer = Mayhem (Jenson's Understeer & Mayhem) -- 108 Points (1 Perfect Podium)
5. No Limit Excedrin Racing (Exediron & GPG) -- 97 Points
6. McLotus (Lotus49 & mcdo) -- 96 Points
7. Crash & Learn (Remmirath & TypingChicane) -- 87 Points
8. Lucky 13 Racing (Herb & Jezza13) -- 63 Points
9. Redline GP (Bentrovato & Ruste13) -- 60 Points

Multi21 jumps back into second place on the back of cm97's impressive round and the supporting scoring of icemanjee1. No Limit Excedrin Racing jumps McLotus for 5th place, owing to the latter team failing to score any points. Lucky 13 Racing re-passes Redline GP in the tight battle for last place; in the end, it wouldn't have mattered at all if RGP was allowed to submit both predictions, as neither contained a score.

Once again, apologies for the un-flowered update. Next one might be better, but don't bet on it - I get back from a trip Saturday, and I may or may not feel like posting Sunday night.

Gah, not a good time for a no-score. Going to have to start taking some risks to try and claw back the deficit, although my experience of that is that it only leads to a bigger deficit!

Knockout Cup: Quarter Final results!

#1 robins13 2 vs. 0 #17 Jezza13 (Sinagpore: 5 v 0)
#5 Jenson's Understeer 2 vs. 1 #14 Exediron (Singapore: 0 v 3)
#6 Black_Flag_11 3 vs. 0 #13 Lotus49 (Singapore: 1 v 0)
#7 Herb 0 vs. 1 #8 icemanjee1 (Singapore: 3 v 3)

Heading into race three of the quarter final, both Jenson's Understeer and Black_Flag_11 had already booked their places in the semis. For Black_Flag_11 a third successive victory against Lotus49 was somewhat irrelevant, although it does mean they advance to the last four with the only 3-0 result. For Jenson's Understeer it was just as well: the 2-0 advantage meant a goose egg in Singapore still allowed him to advance despite Exediron at least regaining some respectability. Of the other two matches, robins13 and Icemanjee1, both of whom headed to Singapore with the advantage, came out of F1's most demanding race with their leads intact. Robins13 put away Jezza13 with a decisive 5-0 victory in Singapore, whilst a 3-3 tie between Herb and Icemanjee1 allowed the latter to advance. It means that our final four looks as follows:

#1 robins13 vs. #8 icemanjee1
#5 Jenson's Understeer vs. #6 Black_Flag_11

Despite the seedings initially handed out after six races, the four names remaining represent the top four in the individual standings. #1 seed - and comfortable overall leader - robins13 faces third-placed Icemanjee1, whilst the man in second overall, Jenson's Understeer, takes on Black_Flag_11, who sits fourth. It also means all four of the highest scoring teams have a representative in the last four. After a competition littered with upsets, will we see one more big shock courtesy of Icemanjee1, or will robins13 move a step closer to completing a league and cup 'double'? And will it be Jenson's Understeer who masters his own competition (and no, we're certainly not talking about the Group Pick'em game here!) or can Black_Flag_11 carry their quarter-final dominance into the semis?

Filing a banker prediction here in case I'm not able to post anything until Saturday or watch FP2...

Malaysian Grand Prix
1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Nico Rosberg
3. Kimi Raikkonen

Hopefully I'll be able to alter this later, with more information, but we'll see!

Edit: Switched out Ricciardo in third place for Kimi. Maybe because I've developed a superstitious fear of actually predicting HAM/ROS/VET this year, or maybe because Vettel's long-run stint seemed a bit off comparatively... either way, I'm sticking with this now. (Now to just hope that the Ferrari strategy is good this race. :uhoh:)

2016 MALAYSIAN GRAND PRIX
Revised Podium Prediction

1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Nico Rosberg
3. Max Verstappen

EDIT: Changed it again! If this bold strategy pays off, No Limit Excedrin Racing will be back in the fight!

Going to amend my prediction. I want to stick with a Rosberg victory, but at the same time I'm almost certain that if I do, it'll finally be Hamilton/Rosberg/Vettel. And given how many times I've predicted that, if that result actually happens and I haven't predicted it I'll be really annoyed  So with that in mind:

1. Hamilton
2. Rosberg
3. Vettel

(But Rosberg will actually beat Hamilton to the win and cost me a bunch of points.)

I'm so far back that I need to choose something different than most, which is more fun anyway.
