I'm so disgusted with my season that I'm totally ditching my usual careful method for this GP. Let's see how it goes in comparison.

2017 HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX
1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Sebastian Vettel
3. Valtteri Bottas
4. Kimi Raikkonen
5. Daniel Ricciardo
6. Max Verstappen
7. Fernando Alonso
8. Nico Hulkenberg
9. Carlos Sainz, Jr.
10. Stoffel Vandoorne

Yup, two McLarens in the points. You heard it here first! :D

Ah crap, completely spaced on the fact it is Hungary this weekend when I made my predictions, and that I probably should've dropped Alonso into the top ten. At least that car is so unreliable there is a decent chance he'll miss out on a points finish simply because he doesn't make it to the end of the race...

So Massa has been taken ill whilst the Hulk has a 5 place grid penalty, marvellous.

Yes that's how it works but I can't see him performing at the same level as Massa. :(

I'm going to take a big risk and change my predictions. The 25-point penalty worked well in Monaco, but here I'm a little less optimistic. Still, I feel like my original predictions are quite a bit off, and fortune favours the brave... (gulp)

I see you've gone for a Ferrari 1-2. I was very, very tempted by that based on FP3, but I have such a limited amount of faith in Kimi that even with the advantage Ferrari appeared to have this morning, I still struggle not to expect him to be beaten into P2 by someone! And Hamilton's success at the track in the past made it hard to guesstimate where he might end up, as based on practice he looks all at sea, but based on the previous years you would not expect that to be accurate... Either way I think I changed my revised prediction about four times before actually committing to it!

I had about 2 minutes to do it so it was rather rushed and not as well thought out if I had more time.

I think I was literally the only one who #BelievedInMcLaren - people taking 25 point penalties don't count! ;)

Now I just need 'em both to reach the finish line, and I'm looking good for at least my first podium of the year. It would be a welcome turnaround to this season.

Hats off, my good fellow! I see you are also the only other one to have picked a Vettel win over in the Top Three. Clearly, a belief in McLaren is a sure sign of deep wisdom! 8)
