Ill have to get my prediction in soon. Still have a bit over a day to sit down and nut it out though. Aiming for an improvement on last year again. Keep moving forward. Started very poor last year, had a great mid season then back to poor at the end so I've got plenty to work with there at least

Last year I was 36th (tied) after Australia and 17th at the end of the season (I think I finished 20th the season before).

So let's see what I can do this year. Sauber seems to do well in Australia the past few years and then their lack of budget causes them to fade later on. Force India always seems to start slowly and improve as the season progresses. So I'll incorporate both of those things into my picks and force them both to be wrong this year.

Australia 2016

1. Hamilton
2. Rosberg
3. Vettel
4. Raikkonen
5. Massa
6. Bottas
7. Ricciardo
8. Hulkenberg
9. Nasr
10 Verstappen

Wait, how did I run out of top ten places? I still need to fit in Perez and Sainz and Kvyat! And what if Renault or McLaren or are competitive? And what if Manor or Haas get lucky? Now I remember why I don't like picking Australia!

Yay, Gothnak is back! Good to see you man. Spamjet, too.

And Exediron, don't think I missed your little poke! You'll get yours. Once we are a few races in, I will constantly be sniping at you from my comfortable position a dozen places behind you in the standings. :D

The first weekend has been made doubly interesting by the rain during the first two sessions, so we go all the way to FP3 with no real idea how the mid-pack will stack up. And Melbourne tends to be a bit of a one-off anyway. I am really looking forward to the rest of the weekend. I hope there is lots of good competition up and down the field!

I daresay Toro Rosso have scuppered a lot of us! Those of us nominating Renault for a good result might be in a spot of bother as well, unless Melbourne can wear a few cars down.

Yes, we have a swear filter now. No, it doesn't change coffin to 'place of rest'.
