Woohoo! I started the season with a better round than I managed all of last year. I was hoping for a podium but am very happy with a lucky top 5. The only thing spoiling my joy is that pesky Exediron had a beautiful win (congratulations! I guess :-P ). Except for him, I can see that I have so far put everyone else on my list into their proper place, behind me. :D

Now that I have crowed about my success, I shall surely follow it up with an 80-point tally in Bahrain in two weeks. Australia is always a bit of a lottery and, as pokerman posted earlier, don't let a less-than-stellar total here sour you on the game. You will all get better and I will doubtless drop back into the mid-pack eventually.

But for now, nyah, nyah, nyah, I am ahead of (most of) you.

I have a mental block with Toro Rosso, I hate them so often forget to include them, it's the same problem as the old one I had with Schumacher... :s

btw.v2, I may be dreaming this, but did I see a quote from Jacques Villeneuve saying that F1 is going to keep the horrendous elimination qualy format for Bahrain?
So sad...

I'm thinking Toro Rosso implosion, Ferrari number 7 explosion, then after p8 I'm hoping for a miracle.

I'm banking on Lewis and Kimi generally doing better in Bahrain than Nico and Seb (and on Ferrari and Mercedes being close), on Red Bull's performance last race being a sign of things to come rather than a vanishing illusion, and on Toro Rosso not being as on it as they looked in Australia. And then, maybe, some blind luck. Perhaps a bit much to count on, but hey, we'll see.

Not two races in a row! :uhoh:

Not really happy with my picks, hard to gauge. I feel like last race had a lot of cars and drivers out of position so it's another week of pure guesswork before a pattern starts to appear.
