I've played it safe and gone in, Noah's Ark style, until I have a better understanding of the pecking order once the chequered flag falls!

152 by my math. Two by two was definitely the way to go for round 1!

A similar slowish start to last season for me, a third of the way down the leaderboard.

119 poor result but at least i guessed correctly the train of Hulk/Bottas/Sainz/Verstappen albeit two positions higher than their actual finish...

So I've got Turquoise in hand - although that should have been a given :P Looks like I've got to outdo Tufty next time out, one point isn't enough to keep me back! Peter2675, looks like we could be in for a tight fight. I think I have a new favourite thread.

Top 30 is a good start for me, especially considering I'm compromising my predictions with my girlfriend for this season! Hopefully we can stay ahead of the mods. If nothing else, it's been 4 years since I was last banned, I'm overdue an opportunity to wind them up.

Thanks for setting up an awesome tournament!

I've never led the championship before - I'm feeling heady from the air up here. I was expecting something good, maybe top ten or so, but I'm definitely pleasantly surprised by a win. I'm already 43 places ahead of where I was this time last year. :]

Well, considering that I had not one but two drivers in my top ten who didn't finish the race, I'll take this as doing pretty well for my first guess of the season. Hopefully I can improve from here on out! Congrats to the top three for this weekend, well predicted!

Haha, 40th. My usual standard then.

Pokerman, could I make one small request, is it possible to add a column that shows the number of rounds people played in? That way, if my form continues I can see how near to the bottom of the regular players I am ;)

Haha, 40th. My usual standard then.

Pokerman, could I make one small request, is it possible to add a column that shows the number of rounds people played in? That way, if my form continues I can see how near to the bottom of the regular players I am ;)

You think even the part players will be beating you?

43rd? Sheeeesh. Given myself a bit of work for the rest of the season already!

Probably! :D

Just thought it might be interesting to look through the leaderboard and see who missed a race etc - and I assume you do this in an excel file, so wouldn't be too much extra work?

PF1 PICK 10 CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 - ROUND 1 - AUSTRALIA

18. pokerman 133
23. specdecible 130
30. P-F1 Mod 126
40. Gothnak 118
44. Mod_Turquoise 114
51. Spamjet 111 (FP1 Penalty -15) 96

Woohoo! I started the season with a better round than I managed all of last year. I was hoping for a podium but am very happy with a lucky top 5. The only thing spoiling my joy is that pesky Exediron had a beautiful win (congratulations! I guess :-P ). Except for him, I can see that I have so far put everyone else on my list into their proper place, behind me. :D

Now that I have crowed about my success, I shall surely follow it up with an 80-point tally in Bahrain in two weeks. Australia is always a bit of a lottery and, as pokerman posted earlier, don't let a less-than-stellar total here sour you on the game. You will all get better and I will doubtless drop back into the mid-pack eventually.

But for now, nyah, nyah, nyah, I am ahead of (most of) you.

No it wouldn't but I think it's only adding a bit of fluff, you can always pm me. :)

Thanks! I was worried when I saw your picks, but everyone gets lucky once or twice, right?
