Ladies and gentlemen, it is back... the PF1 Pick 10 Competition! 2015 Edition

Rules are simple, pick 10 drivers you think will finish the race in the points and place them in the order of which you think they will finish. Points are awarded according to the difference your selection is from the race result, providing the selected drivers score points.
o Picking driver in correct place earns 25 points.
o One place out earns 18 points.
o Two places out earns 15 points.
o Three places out earns 12 points.
o Four places out earns 10 points.
o Five places out earns 8 points.
o Six places out earns 6 points.
o Seven places out earns 4 point.
o Eight places out earns 2 point.
o Nine places out earns 1 point.
Maximum points per race is 250.

Example for the 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix:

Tip / Result: Points

1: Rosberg / 14th: 0 points
2: Hamilton / 1st: 18 points
3: Bottas / 3rd: 25 points
4: Ricciardo / 4th: 25 points
5: Massa / 2nd: 12 points
6: Vettel / 8th: 15 points
7: Alonso / 9th: 15 points
8: Button / 5th: 12 points
9: Raikkonen / 10th: 18 points
10: Magnussen / 11th: 0 points

Therefore my overall score for Abu Dhabi would be:
140 points

The person who has the most points by the end of the season wins the championship.

Your picks must be entered before Friday Practice 1 and can be changed any time before the session starts (just be sure to let me know). Any late picks will incur a penalty depending on how many sessions have passed.
-15 points for FP1
-18 points for FP2
-25 points for SP1
-DSQ for Qual

In case the forum temporary closes during a race week and you are unable to submit your entry, your average score from past rounds will be used.

What are you waiting for? You have 9 days 5 hours until Practice 1 of the Melbourne Grand Prix!

@Moderators: Can I kindly ask you to postpone moving this topic to the "Games" section as I would like to attract as many members as possible at least until Melbourne?! To make it a sticky would be nice

A fresh start! A chance to finish better than 20th overall (like I did last year). A chance to trash talk about how awesome my picks are (and laugh at myself before I even manage to finish typing the sentence). A chance to try and remember how to spell the drivers' names!

Okay, new season here we go! I ended 2014 with what was possible the most accurate system, but I'm bringing a new, fully re-developed version of my system for 2015 which, according to my numbers, should be the most accurate I've ever used by far ;)

2015 AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX
01: Lewis Hamilton
02: Nico Rosberg
03: Valtteri Bottas
04: Kimi Raikkonen
05: Felipe Massa
06: Sebastian Vettel
07: Daniel Ricciardo
08: Romain Grosjean
09: Daniil Kvyat
10: Jenson Button

Of course, it's hard to plug numbers you don't have into any system, so there's had to be some guesswork here. I'm taking a gamble on McLaren finishing and on Kimi doing well.

Its ok I'm waiting for all the entries to come in first so I can arrange them in alphabetical order, that makes it much easier for finding people and speeding up the data entries

Generally speaking amended entries take no real time to alter so no problem

I will be back this season, hopefully not chocking at the end of season like last year (cost myself a top 10 finish).
I Will place my predictions when I have time to think.
All the best everyone and thanks pokerman for setting up the 2015 competition.

So if it comes down to it, the championship is on the wire and you have to make the hard call, will you settle for 2nd place...

Or tank and shoot for whatever place the Hulk is in? :D
