Well then I can see why your angry with that art teacher.
Sounds like You need to go speak with the imbecile.

Good sketches from your child. Some talent there alright.

Always amazes me how people can draw/ paint so well. When I try it looks plain rubbish.

I had to do the exact same task at school and I got nowhere near that standard! You've got a talented kid there, impressive stuff.

I have some fairy statues (not self-made). Do they also count to be pictured under this thread?

Like the paintings of London too toughguy

I think so! Artwork's anything if you ask me. Drawing, paintings, statues, poetry, everything! So pop them up :D

@Toughguy I really like the Vortex! And the one with the buses is awesome :D Got some talented painters near you evidently!!

@Sarhan, very nice drawing. As a Senna fan this is giving me goosebumps!

@ rachie. I am going to search my photobucket link again so I don't need to make new photos :)

Love the other drawings too! Quite some talent Jezick (your son I mean).

Parents night was a couple of weeks ago and she was one of only two teachers not in attendance, wife was keen for her to explain why teaching him herself was frowned upon. Oh well, his coursework marks are good so we'll see what happen in June.

Yeah I draw like a 4 year old

Drawing like a 4 year old we can get away with.

It's when we walk, talk and act like a 4 year old that society says no

Yes toughguy they are fairies :) You sound surprised. It's not that when you like F1 which can be pretty macho you can't like pretty or cute stuff. I have always been into fantasy since the day I started to skim through the pages of an old book filled with pictures from fairy tales. Writing I always loved and fantasy creatures such as fairies often play a major role in these.

The fairies don't talk to me lol, I wish. However I gave them the language to speak through the stories I write and of course they have a certain character, behaviour, likes, dislikes etc. The last fairy for example is named Kannelijntje (my favourite). She is very caring and has the gift of healing hands meaning she can send energy through her hands which can cure wounds. She can also sing well and thus make angry people soften up so they let those angry feelings go.

Quote:
Edit. I like the one on the horse
Edit 2. What's on its head. Is that the fairies

Most people who I show the fairies too like that one. It's a not a horse she is sitting on though, it's a unicorn. Unicorns only exist in fairy tales. Their horn is what them distincts from the normal horse. The horn of a unicorn can only be seen by people that have magic or enough imagination, so for the others it will just be a horse. Often the horn has magical powers, such as lightning or healing touch. The fairy on the unicorn is named Victoria, queen of the fairies. I love her not only because of the unicorn but also because of her purple dress (purple being my favourite colour).

So thats your thing and I say good for you Amon.
Incidentally my mother has a similar talent to your fairy

Difference is when she sings, it envokes anger and feeling to escape

But seriously, I see where your coming from. If you enjoy writing those stories then good for you.

Though I do hope you dont talk to your fairies.

Lol I know what you mean about people who sing but really should not
And no I don't talk to my fairies. I don't talk to anything that does not answer back unless babies or pets :-P
There are people talking to statues, dolls, symbols usually for religious purposes. So I think it's not something we should laugh with.

Amon, I know this is wrong but I'm finding myself attracted to the fairy sat on the tree. The one with the beautiful blue wings.
Can You send me her contact details :]

Lol ur silly :D But she does have a name, it's Priscilla. However she is already married and the fairy in the last picture is actually her daughter (well in the story anyway).
Can't tell u where she lives, she is pretty keen on her privacy :-P

Well unless you can relate fairies to F1...

I'd post something here myself, but then I remember I can't draw to save my life

Thanks, I use 3D Max 2009..... that youtube clip is only part of animation the ship does in the scene. Once we get it rendered it'll fly in, land, then extend the ramp.

@Dr Lee That video's really cool. I bet they take ages to make? Would like to see more when you've got it.

I forgot that I'd drawn this a while ago too Bruno Senna
I've only been posting my f1 ones but might put up the picture of David Tennant I did too, just because I like it haha.

Oh Ages.... the one with 'Enyalius' on the ship has been on the go for a couple of years now... I find that once i get near to completion of the ship, i often either decide to fix any flaws or learn a new technique that'll make things better, so i re-start the build

Like you, i've got a Deviant art, where most of my images go....

Haha I know how you feel! Can take an age to finish things sometimes. I know I did a copy of Senna that took months even though the original took 2 days!

I've just uploaded a much better quality picture of Simoncelli here. Think it shows the whole picture much more clearly! Just wish I still had Senna so I could get a better quality shot of that too.

I can't draw to save my life, and my painting skills are limited to sides of houses. Some of the stuff in here is pretty impressive. I'd like to be able to draw myself but I never got the hang of it. In Standard Grade Techy at school, I used to spend hours trying to get sketches of things right. I hated it as it took so long to produce what I had it my head. Making it generally took less time and was a lot more fun.

Anyway, good work guys, 'grats.

Eek! Just realised it's almost a year since anyone's posted in here so thought I'd share the most recent thing I've been working on. Basically it's my boyfriend's birthday coming up and you can't buy Potter monopoly so I'm making one! Here's a couple of my most recent WIPs.

I have more that I've done but I dunno how many Potter fans are on here really haha.

Your kid has got serious talent!

Stunning, I can see how your art teacher questioned it tbh...

I really love those! Insanely cute.

Finally finished a picture of Thor I started about a year ago. Sorry the picture quality's so bad. Scanner isn't working and I couldn't be bothered fiddling to find the best options any more.

I really need to get back to drawing. Did it all the way through high school and then only did it now and then through uni. Got a bit more time on my hands now so might need to buy some decent pencils and see if I can remember how to do it.

I got a Galaxy Note 2 in March which I promptly used to start drawing a web comic with (which I linked to before, but you can find here: http://randomperspective.com/comic )

However, because I draw the comic quickly, and the screen is small for drawing on (5.5 inches) the art isn't as great as it could be, so I decided to take my time and try drawing a couple of images on it in a different style and here's what I ended up with:

First drawing (of the character L from the excellent anime Death Note)

Second drawing (of one of my own characters from my webcomic)
