You think they will, or should, be worried about a Le Pen win?

Yes, it would appear we live in different worlds.

My post wasn't very clear, I meant if Le Pen won the election, which she won't.

We do indeed.

But let's just say I didn't say this was going to happen 5 or 6 years ago, yeah? I definitely didn't........

Often happens. Let's hope it's the usual false alarm.

Yup, that's why I make it clear it's unconfirmed. OTOH, with a gunman on the run, another shooting would not be that surprising.

And you did say a lot 5-6 years ago.

Had Le Pen policies been followed those past thirty years, you know and they also know, that we would be in a ten times less vulnerable situation.

They also know that if, one or another, he policies are not followed in the next thirty years then we're cooked for good.

What they want is to draw them in a war on their turf. What we should do is not engage into such stupid war, and isolate ourselves as much as we can from them. Not entirely possible, but for sure we can do better than what we've been doing for the last half century.

A car pulled up alongside a police bus just before 21:00 (19:00 GMT) and a man got out, opening fire with an automatic weapon at the bus, Mr Brandet said.
After killing an officer, he attempted to run away while shooting at other officers, two of whom he injured, the spokesman added.
He was then shot dead by security forces.
According to BFMTV's sources, the killer was known to the security services and had talked of wanting to kill police officers on the Telegram messaging service.
The whole of the Champs Elysees has been evacuated and police vehicles are lined up near a point half way up the avenue around the George V metro station, our correspondent says.
Shots were heard in or near the Marks & Spencer store, provoking a panicked rush away from the scene by tourists and passers-by.

I have no doubt he's not dead, only trying a joke, especially because it was good-ish news.

The anti mooslim stuff is gone beyond a joke when you are cheering penalty shoot outs against a random team from Turkey at 11pm. Go have a cup of tea and lie down.

Turkish fans attacked Lyon fans, unprovoked, including families.

So yeah, one for the good guys.

Yup. I'm sure their beards didn't set off the mooslim alarm in your head at all. FFS, you even claimed England fans haven't been naughty in years in that link!

There is not much point engaging with cavemen like yourself beyond this, good night.

Panicked a wee bit when first heard of this as daughter's school trip was in that area but then realised they'd moved on yesterday. Sad news indeed for the policeman's family and colleagues :(.

Sad days indeed. The way the fucker succeeded with his history and "tag" can only expose how inept the state of emergency is.
