I owned one of them. Action Man's response to Bionic Man dolls. His 'atomic' arm had a wizzy knob thing that made his hand spin. Holding a sort of rotor blade, he'd fly off leaving the bionic man wishing he'd not survived that crash.

Old toys were really sh!t.

As a teenager, I had a wizzy Knox thing that made my hand spin.

Clearly you weren't given the awesomeness that was Meccano  lego is for squids dude :P

What is shown in this famous photo?

Image

Spoiler: show
This well-known photograph was taken (extremely) shortly after the detonation of a nuclear device during Operation Tumbler-Snapper. The projecting spikes are known as a rope trick effect.

That's actually a shopped pic, that did the rounds down here in Argentina.

The woman is a young Cristina Kirchner, former president who has 4 penal processes open for bribery and misapropiation of state funds through back payments.

The text that usually went with it was along the lines of "This is a fake picture, doctored to discredit Hitler... he never knew Cristina!"

That was in Sherborne (Hot Fuzz could be a documentary about the place) and was the first of a series of attacks by a 'dairy delinquent' - https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.rt.com/document/56a60564c4618874178b45f6/amp

It is, though it can be a bit hairy at times. All the shops board up their windows and pubs take out much of the furniture. Much beer is imbibed over a long day. A good few years since I did it but a mate goes every year.
