Some of the worst television I've seen in a long time. Dreary self-indulgent shite. Each episode feels like a year. Just appalling.

Best show on TV currently. FACT.

If you're on acid, maybe.

Ludicrous action scenes that genuinely felt like they were outtakes. Entire episodes that go practically nowhere. Masturbatory scene-setting. Endless retreads of already established tropes. And the last episode took us from the one episode where something actually happened to an astonishingly poorly thought out copout episode where they just kill more time and achieving nothing except some tiny scraps of back story and plot that were, by and large, finished by the time they brought up the Legion title. Style over substance to an incredible degree.

Two quite different responses appear before me like a bifurcating path.

The first begins with the unexceptionable statement that JMK is an utter cúnt, then descends into personal abuse.

The second merely notes that, as yer ancient eyeties said, de gustibus non disputandum est.

Yeah I'm halfway through big little lies now. Went into it thinking "oh yeah, this is going to suck".

It definitely doesn't suck, it's very very good. The cast was probably a give away to its potential.

Not a bad watch at all, would recommend for sure.

Lack of tits was reminiscent of 1973 television.

Half the cast are phenomenal (Zatrakian, the gigantic russian dude, the british hacker) and infuriating (most of the rest). The effects are mostly pretty cool though

Let me guess. They have to break out of/into an unbreakable prison? And ...
Spoiler: show
... Michael had a brain thingy and they clearly buried him at the end of series 7 (?) yet is somehow going to be explained away quickly in the hope that one remembers.

Just saw you replied to me. I'm usually so late with shows I'm about 50 pages behind.

I've only seen the hacker girl once, in her brief interview with the old guy. There must be a term for the 'hot hacker chick' trope in these things right? Very Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I like the guy who collects the rats for sure - best character so far.

I'm not hugely enjoying the Concentration Camp flashbacks but hopefully these pick up.

Fargo season 3 starting soon - although I won't see it until it eventually appears here on Channel 4 in a few months.

Only just getting around to Season 2 which I recorded last year...absolutely brilliant after a slow and slightly confusing (deliberately so) first episode. Love the twists and turns that pull all the narrative together after so many scenes in the opening seemed to be unrelated.

Really excited about Season 3. What's the lowdown? What era is it set in? Does it contain any of the original cast?

Season three starts April 19

If it is as good as one and two then it all will be great

Enjoying season three of The Americans now

Yeah, when the oh started religiously making me watch Big Little Lies I thought it was going to be a bore - but it really is good. Some excellent performances.

For me though the main reasons to watch are for the 'house porn' - some of the properties the characters live in are amazing - and because the soundtrack is brilliant.

I also did a J1 on the other side of Monterrey in a former life, so the show had a nice nostalgic feel for me - beautiful part of the world.

Set in 2010, and "a brand new storyline" is as much as I can find about it. Don't think it has any of the previous characters. Ewan McGregor and David Thewlis are in it.

Vasili is the best thing in The Strain by a fair way, only guy better than him is Zatrakian. The first season ramps up pretty well, haven't seen the second season fully yet because the kid becomes punch-in-the-face irritating. I will get back to it though, good show.

Just wanted to announce as well that Rick and Morty S03E01 was great and everyone should see it. Goddamn I love this show

Worst TV kid of all time maybe. I never thought Carl from TWD would be beaten to the title.

It got renewed cause its Del Toro's show, his shows don't get canceled even when the lead actor dies (trollhunters) adn del toro says this shows has atleast one good season left in it...I just hope they find a way to replace the kid, maybe go 3 years in the future so that they can replace the kid lol

Just watched season 3 of the strain.

Just getting tedious with its Ass pulls.. S1 and part of S2 were good.. But this S3 is just..WTF.

Were the writers trolling the audience with the shite they pulled in the Season 3 finale? Everyone hates that fcuken kid... and yet they wrote an ending like that?

Dont think will be back for S4 unless its an ACTUAL FCUKEN CONCLUSION... And not a cock tease.
