29 laps into a 71 race and cars having problems already on their second set with orders of look after the tyres, is this really racing?

Did Verstappen gain about three seconds ON Hamilton during VSC? Could have sworn the gap was about 10 seconds. It's now 13.

Not an excuse, others at least cover the inside, forcing the overtaker to try around the outside. Raikkonen? His policy seems to be : "Why work hard, or at all?"

That Ferrari is simply quicker than the Mercedes, no point in fighting. If Vettel got a good start he would be fighting for the win.

Wise by Hamilton to go careful, no need to take risks.

In fact his start wasn't bad, but he had nowhere to go. And sensibly (finally) he didn't try anyway.

Hopefully Vettel can make life interesting but he is rather a long way behind...

Merc pace is very ordinary here from both drivers.

I assume, Max is controlling his pace. Without tyre or reliability problems he will win this one easily.

Vettel doesn't really need to pass Max, just push him enough to force a stop, then manage tires in clear air the front.

Edit: Vettel just stopped again, that was unexpected. Sprint finish coming up?

I know that, what I mean was if he was higher up he would have been fighting for the win. The car is a match for the RB.

If Hamilton has any sense he will nurse the tyres for a few laps

The win seems unlikely, it would be just as well to get what points he can and collect the bigger trophy.

Top 6 is a given assuming no DNF.

He must just think of the bigger picture, yes a podium would be nice but hey the championship is more important
