It has the potential to be worse than Sochi. Russia bribed, but what was the excuse for putting this turd on the calendar?

Why do you think it's so bad?

Yes, I'm excited about the track but a little bit less so now that the Ferrari is extremely dominant. Should be a walk in the park for Vettel since Kimi isn't allowed to win even though he is faster alot of times.

I'm thinking you write these posts just to stir the pot...

I've no issue with the layout, but the blue lines + looking like it's in a gigantic parking lot is terrible.

It's amazing how aesthetically pleasing gravel and grass is compared to tarmac, something I didn't pay much attention to when I first started watching the sport. I understand the safety issue----I really do---but this is likely the future of all race tracks, and it's ugly. Very ugly.

Hopefully it'll produce a good race, but I won't hold my breath.

Why can’t they just paint the tarmac one solid colour. All those lines are so distracting.

Watched FP2.. can't say I see why this is going to be an exciting grand prix. On the other hand, Canada is usually a fantastic race but this year it was worse than watching paint dry. No clue how this race will turn out. Maybe a strong performance by Danny Ric at Paul Ric will be exciting.

The Red Bulls look close on pace, so there's a good chance it will be a bit too exciting for a certain Mr. Horner... :]

The only thing that makes this seasons races interesting is a well timed safety car to shake up the order and put people on different strategy's. The cars can't get close enough to overtake which means that the teams have to try and eek the tyres out to reduce the number of stops.

So it seems the F1 drivers read these pages and requested they remove the chicane during the driver briefing on Friday, in order to improve the racing. It's not possible for this year as it would time to homologate the track but apparently something they may consider for next.
