Combine F1 & Rally & NASCAR experience and you add them together = the race either wet or dry or drift or speed, Kimi will be unbeatable for 2012....

Pole and win for Kimi at Albert Park. 8)

Sorry, not far away but still far enough :-P
I predict Kimi will be around 5 in quali. The races in Albert Park have lately been searching for flying car parts , but would like to see Kimi on podium!

I think Grosjean will have the upper hand at the beginning, at least in qualification. I would be really, really happy if Kimi proved me wrong and the car would be as strong as it seems now.

i am really surprised about raikkonen. i thought he will be out of speed. yet, he is still very fast. of course probably car is fast as well, but yeah, i am positively surprised.
hope he will be fast during season too!

Eric seems confident about the pace of E20. Come to think of it, the E20 progress over testing actually looks pretty positive.

Raikkonen for his part seems to have wandered/drunkenly stumbled back into F1 in such a fashion that you would never guess he had ever left. I can only hope he means what he says and his heart is truely in it. A motivated raikkonen is a force to be recognised.

I truly share the same dilema....Was supporting Vettel in the last years, but also Kimi used to be my favorite driver before.
May the best wins!

Well, definitely no dilemma for me - I'm Kimi's fan since Mika had retired and I followed almost every rally he's been to in last two years while supporting Vettel during last two seasons as well, I mean I love Vettel's racing skills and the person he is, I jumped for joy at every of his successes but if they come to a direct fight this year I would not linger, Kimi's the man I am to follow no matter what.

Sitting in my office in London, and it's looking pretty wet outside. I think Kimi is probably going to be doing his Top Gear lap on a wet, or at least a damp track.

Raikkonen Astonishes Lotus Technical Director James Allison

Lotus F1 Team's technical director James Allison is astonished by how quickly Kimi Raikkonen has adapted to his new car.

"He has had an amazingly huge impact to the whole team. The way he drives, the way he works with us, the feedback he gives. He had not driven a F1 car in two years. We didn't notice any sign of that. He hadn't driven a F1 car with a full tank before, no problem. He hadn't any prior experience of the Pirellis, no problem. He keeps his tyres alive and precisely identifies any problems with his car. It's a pleasure to work with him."

If they go head to head, I'll just cheer in general and be content with whatever the outcome. It was like that in past years in any case. And with other drivers too.

I think the "bad luck" was all worth it for the wonderful finish to 07'. Clearly F1 is a different animal today, in those days they used to push the car to and very often past the limit to win. Now how often do we see mechanical breakdowns? I relish those days even tho my fav driver was often affected by them, it still added a lot to the drama. I would argue a lot more than DRS.

Nothing wrong with that. I feel like it won't work out however, as they will eventually have you picking a side. It's human nature - fight it and i commend you for trying but I'll go on record - you will not be able to. Sure you can like both, for example, in every team in F1 i like one driver more than another but ultimately overall u will like one a little more.

I struggled to find someone to follow passionately.. I even stopped watching the Practice sessions..

What kept me watching is cheering against Ferrari and Alonso lol..

It was swimming pool it down so neither were impressive. Slash was about 1.49.7 & I THINK Kimi was 1.46 (around Damon Hill area).

For those not in the UK I want to add - it was around +6+9C yesterday

What is that in Fahrenheit? Also, on Slash's twitter yesterday - he mentioned that it was sunny out when he was heading to film top gear.
