Its probably my age showing, but half the time now when I see the Mclaren I half see a camel on the front :D

Old habits die hard.

I think possibly 1985 with the white stripes on the front and rear wings

Ditto. Those pinstripes are absolutely bad-ass. There something about it, along with the digital-looking driver numbers that gives the car a whole 80's postmodern look.

In celebration of Fernando's triumph at Le Mans, here's a video on a team he never had any association with.

Some of those Jordan liveries are absolute crackers.

Hopefully one day we'll see Toyota back on the grid.

IMO the first prototype and 2009 car were the best looking

Gotta agree with you there, Jim. Loved that '01 test livery.

Sadly I doubt we'll see Toyota back any time soon, or any new works teams like Merc, Ferrari or Renault. The RB/Honda partnership may be matched by another manufacturer in time, but I can't see who else really wants to join the grid. Right now FE is far more appealing than F1 to major manufacturers, and hypercar builders lack the resources (and desire) to join the grid.

Having said that, I'm surprised Toyota haven't joined FE as yet, although I don't believe Honda has either.
