Two votes for Vettel? I mean, he did nothing wrong but is he getting the votes for shaking his team's hands and waving to crowd?

Verstappen, Magnussen and Hamilton, in that order.

Max was pretty great today, good start, dusted his team mate off and then hunted Hamilton down to the line. Magnussen's pass on Massa alone gets him a vote for me, it was brave and it was needed, especially with Grosjean on the blower behind him asking to be let through. Hamilton did what he needed to do, got off the line well and managed it home in front. Knowing Vettel was out could have led to a lack of concentration but he stayed in front of Max, had pace at the right moments and didn't wilt under that traffic nonsense at the end.

Mag's pass was a bit iffy. He just about lost the car and had to countersteer hard to the left, almost sideswiping Massa in the process. Felipe showed good awareness to avoid major contact. Still, I like to see drivers taking calculated risks so it was a good pass in the end.

Verstappen. Right on Hamilton's pace all race when I'm not sure his car should have been.

It wasn't iffy at all. He actually left Massa more than a cars width. A courtesy that Massa rarely extends himself.

Verstappen, Hamilton and Bottas in that order. I really like Max in the last two races, fast but mature performances, more please. Lewis was fortunate today not to come under more pressure because in race trim his car looked slower than Max's on the primes but still great performance to lead from start to finish. Bottas was really sprightly today and seems to be back on the pace.

Agreed, it is stupid, but the same thing happens with Lewis too.

The same thing happens with any popular driver. It's a joke!

Guilty as charged! :D But my vote that time was mostly because you pointed out the one vote he already got. I doubt a vote or two will mess things up enough to keep us from getting the general idea.

I'm still trying to decide who to vote for this time. Kimi is certainly a possibility, but so is Max.
