Congrats Lewis Hamilton!!!

WOW!!!

They're showing some respect to Ferrari, not to embarass them too much on their home ground.

Any two drivers could have easily finished 1-2 in that Mercedes today. Hopefully the rest of the season isn't like this.

There have been worse, but yes it was pretty dull.

Shame Danny couldn't quite catch Seb in time for some last minute excitement.

I hope I'm just being pessimistic but I think after a repeat of Silverstone Vettel's only chance is some bad luck for Hamilton. Mercedes is too strong in the races now and near unbeatable in qualifying.

I think it'd be interesting if both Mercedes new engines blow putting them on the back foot but with their newfound dominance and having to have an engine adhere to the new oil-burning rules would make for an interesting championship.

The new engines are run at 0.9 ;)

Yep. If he had a major off, we'd know about it long before the end of the race.

And their 2013 illegal tire test didn't benefit their tire issues ;)

I don't think so, he said there was a problem which is why he "went up and down on the engine". Sounds like he was explaining to the team why he was changing engine mode.

Don't see issues with boos. Ferrari fans, just lost lead in WDC, a bit of teasing is fine..

Due to going off but talking to Hamilton after he didn't sound to convining.

I doubt he's actually able to, he's probably just repeating some words he heard from others. It just sounds weird in his voice.

Seemed like pretty good Italian on the podium to me.

Meh. They're boozed up racing fans giving it to the opposition, no different to any other live sport. No one is taking it too seriously. Nothing wrong with it imo.

He is a slower driver with better race craft. Verstappen was a long way ahead before Massa ran into him.

Agree with the first part, he must drive the car too hard to get that pace and probably has something to do with his mechanical failures?
Verstappen was driving like quite senselessly all day IMO. Rampaged the first corner and was lucky not get damage trying to make up 5 positions against slower cars that he could easily pass down the road, and then later on needlessly left BOTH the HAAS drivers 0 room when he was barely past them, was asking to get run into. I didn't actually see the Massa incident but no penalty so assuming it he could have avoided it?
Watching Ricciardo's first corner on the otherhand i think he actually gave up positions to avoid any chance of copping damage and then just picked them off all day. Smart.

Based on the fact given so English is word perfect I have no doubt Vettels Italian is half decent

I though it was a good race. Podium was decided after a couple of laps but really enjoyed the midfield battles
